MCR contacted AV installs to upgrade their existing boardroom set up which comprised of an old 65″ plasma TV with cables running out of a floor box trailing under the desk. After a thorough site survey we established that our clients main requirements were to increase the size of the display considerably from 65″ to a 2M wide projection screen. They Key objective was to provide a high definition projector that could cope with detailed information that needed to be projected. MCR also wanted all cabling to be concealed and an easier way of connecting to the projector than having to trail cables from under the desk or the sidewalls.

The final solution was a NEC PE401H 4000 Lum Full HD projector along with a 2M wide 16:9 fixed frame front projection screen, AV Installs Ltd also commissioned a bespoke desktop connection module that provided X2 mains sockets, X2 network sockets, X1 HDMI connection, X1 VGA & Audio connection. This great product allowed the customer to connect to the projector, power the laptop and access the internal network all from one point.

The Projector was ceiling mounted to the wooden structure above the suspended ceiling using a white RA technology projector mount finished with a white ceiling tile trim disc.  AV Installs Ltd believe in attention to detail, lost of little things when grouped together make a big difference to the aesthetics of a room and the successful integration of AV and technology.
