Future Automation UBL Bedroom TV Lift Mechanism
The Under Bed TV Lift Mechanism from Future Automation is a truly unique and impressive system designed to hide your flat-screen TV in the bedroom under the bed while it is not in operation. When you are ready to watch TV, press the remote button or other control, and the UBL under-bed TV lift will spring into action. Firstly, your TV will gently slide out from under the bed horizontally until it clears the foot of the bed. Secondly, the UBL then hinges the TV 90 degrees into the upright position. Lastly, the UBL telescopic lift raises the TV up over the bed to the perfect viewing position. This UBL lift has been designed for customers who want to conceal their TV in the bedroom but don’t want a traditional bed-end TV lift mechanism or bulky furniture. The under-bed lift, with its minimalist design, helps create another dimension in the interior design of a minimalist room.
The Future Automation UBL can also be shipped with an end-of-bed flap mechanism, the UBL-EBF. This mechanism automates a flap at the end of the bed, which opens and rolls out of the way under the bed before the TV slides out. The EBF is an excellent way to finish the bed base, allowing everything to be out of sight. The UBL is suitable for screens up to 55″ or 800mm tall and requires a minimum height clearance of 255mm. The UBL-EBF requires a minimum height under the bed of 320mm.

The UBL features near-silent motors that operate smoothly and efficiently, making it ideal for hotel rooms and residential customers. The UBL is shipped as a complete unit, ready to be installed with no self-assembly required. The lift is also supplied with a cable management track, ensuring that all cabling is safely and securely held throughout the operation. The final height of the TV can be programmed using the remote, providing the lift always returns to that preset height. The UBL range of bedroom TV lifts can be controlled by RS-232, contact closure, and comes standard with an IR remote control, making it fully integratable with most brands of home automation control systems. Also available is an RF remote option, which will allow the lift to operate remotely out of line of sight. This is a handy addition if the unit is not being configured to an existing control system.
