The Optical and Cat6 sockets are the same on the back as they are on the front, acting as a coupler.

Featuring 3 HDMI sockets on the front, along with Optical Audio, Cat6 RJ45 & USB 3 on a double-gang wall plate. On the back, there are three female HDMI sockets and a USB 3 socket at the end of a short lead. The Optical Audio socket and the CAT6 RJ45 socket have straight coupler sockets on the back. HDMI V2.1 compliant, this socket acts as a coupler, allowing easy connection of three HDMI leads. Our connectors are fixed to the plate using screws and bolts rather than glue, providing extra strength for longevity and regular use. This TV connection plate has everything that a modern entertainment system needs, with multiple connections for SKY, Virgin, BT, along with your favourite games consoles like Xbox & PlayStation. Why HDMI 2.1
Not everyone knows that not all HDMI cables are the same or can do the same tasks. It’s important to know, though, that HDMI 2V.1 is the very latest and is backwards compatible with all previous versions. The key difference between the earlier version, HDMI 2.0, and the new 2.1 is the bandwidth size and transmission bit rate. The former V2.0 supports only 18Gbps to achieve a 4K picture at 60Hz. Whereas the latest HDMI 2.1 clocks in at 48Gbps and promises up to 10K resolution at 120Hz. This will future-proof your HDMI AV connection for a few upgrades yet!
