Featuring triple HDMI sockets on the front of the wall plate and on the back there are three female HDMI sockets at the end of a short lead. HDMI V2.1 compliant, this socket acts as a coupler allowing easy connection of three HDMI leads. Our connectors are fixed to the plate using screws and bolts rather than glue providing extra strength for longevity and regular use.
HDMI Wall Plates are used extensively in audio visual installations to provide a point of connection between devices. Such as your TV and auxiliary equipment, like Laptops, SKY Box, Blu-ray player or Games Consoles. They are also used in projector installations and interactive touch screen installations as a simple HDMI connection plate. If your HDMI cable is buried in the wall and breaks when plugging your equipment in its a massive job to rip it out and start again. WIth a HDMI connection plate you just replace the fly lead or the HDMI plate. This protects the main cable in the wall from any damage during use. This is ideal for commercial installations or anywhere that laptops are regularly connected to AV equipment like offices or classrooms. Why HDMI 2.1
Not everyone knows that not all HDMI cable are the same or can do the same tasks. Its important to know though that HDMI 2V.1 is the very latest and is totally backward compatible to all previous versions.
The key difference between the previous version HDMI 2.0 and the new 2.1 is the size of the bandwidth and transmission bit rate. The former V2.0 supports only 18Gbps to achieve a 4K picture at 60Hz. Where as the latest HDMI 2.1 clocks in at 48Gbps and promises up to 10K resolution at 120Hz. This will future proof your HDMI AV connection for a few upgrades yet!
