Double Gang Home Cinema AV Receiver connection plate with 7.1 or 5.1.2 speaker connections. 7 pairs of speaker binding posts, banana sockets, an X1 HDMI socket, an Optical Audio socket and a subwoofer socket. Used to provide a professional connection point in home cinema installations between the AV receiver, speakers and flat screen TV or Projector. Available in a wide range of decorative finishes, and custom orders are welcome. X14 binding posts on the front, and the same on the back, X1 female HDMI V2.1 on the front with a short lead on the back to another female HDMI socket. The Optical Audio socket and subwoofer socket are both the same on the front, as they are on the back, acting as a coupler.

Featuring seven pairs of speaker binding posts, banana sockets, along with one HDMI, Optical Audio, and subwoofer socket on a double-gang wall plate. On the back, there is a female HDMI socket at the end of a short lead, an optical audio coupler and seven pairs of binding posts. HDMI V2.1 compliant, this socket acts as a coupler, allowing easy connection of three HDMI leads. Our connectors are fixed to the plate using screws and bolts rather than glue, providing extra strength for longevity and regular use. This AV receiver connection plate has everything needed to connect an AV receiver to the speakers and flat screen TV or projector.

Multimedia Wall Plates and speaker plates are used extensively in home cinema installations to provide a professional point of connection between devices, such as your TV, projector, home cinema receiver and speakers. If your cables are buried in the wall and the connector breaks when plugging your equipment in, it’s a massive job to rip it out and start again. Why HDMI 2.1

Not everyone knows that not all HDMI cables are the same or can do the same tasks. It’s important to know, though, that HDMI 2V.1 is the very latest and is backwards compatible with all previous versions. The key difference between the earlier version, HDMI 2.0, and the new 2.1 is the bandwidth size and transmission bit rate. The former V2.0 supports only 18Gbps to achieve a 4K picture at 60Hz. Whereas the latest HDMI 2.1 clocks in at 48Gbps and promises up to 10K resolution at 120Hz. This will future-proof your HDMI AV connection for a few upgrades yet! HDMI V2.1 is fully backwards compatible and will work with all previous standards.
