At the core of the Gold Line cable are 30AWG high-purity Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC) conductors protected by tinned copper braid triple-shielding. This design delivers exceptionally low signal attenuation, preventing electromagnetic interference (EMI) even in dense electronic rack environments.
The connector housings are cast from heavy-duty zinc alloy and plated entirely in 24K gold, accompanied by 15µm gold-plated contacts. This heavy gold shielding protects against oxidation, corrosion, and continuous strain during frequent re-plugging.
