Technical Breakdown & Requirements

• Installation Tip: The solderless dual-sided binding posts allow quick, secure connections to internal wall cables, simplifying setup for trade professionals. We also provide colour-coded bushes for the back of the plate, making it quick and easy to identify the positive and negative connections. The RCA sub-connection acts as a straight coupler and can be used in conjunction with the supplied adaptor.

• Compatibility: Universally fits all standard single-gang UK surface-mount or flush-mount steel back boxes. It pairs easily with a standard 47mm back box.

• Package Details: Box contains 1x Single Gang Plate (86mm x 86mm) with pre-insulated binding posts, plus a single subwoofer phono connector and 2x matching installation screws.

• Metal Plates: All our metal plates come fitted with our proprietary black ABS plastic insulating bushes; the positive speaker post features a discrete red ring for identification while maintaining superior visual aesthetics. The speaker posts and subwoofer socket recess into the bush, which locks into place, allowing perfectly symmetrical alignment across the whole plate.

Installation Tip

Use the speaker posts on the back of the plate to directly secure your cable for a solder-free installation. We also like to solder the ends of our cables first, but it’s up to you!
