1. Multi-Purpose Stereo or Bi-Wired or Atmos-Enabled

• The Benefit: Offers total versatility. Use it to route a standard left-and-right stereo channel pair, or dedicate the entire plate to a single high-performance loudspeaker to separate its high-frequency and low-frequency crossovers (Bi-wiring). You can even use it with Dolby Atmos-enabled speakers that require dual channels.

• Key Feature: Outfitted with 4 premium, gold-plated universal binding posts (2 red, 2 black) that accept bare wire, spade terminals, or standard 4mm banana plugs for maximum signal transfer.

2. Premium Decor Finishes

• The Benefit: Keeps your technical connections perfectly aligned with your home’s artistic design and luxurious finish.

• Key Feature: Handcrafted by AV Installs in multiple modern variations, including standard White/Black plastic and luxury solid-metal finishes like Brushed Chrome, Polished Chrome, Brushed Brass, Polished Brass, and Gun Metal Black. All our metal plates feature colour-coded ABS plastic insulating bushes on the front.

• Speaker Post Caps: These decorative caps come in black or white, with easy identification bands for + and – channels. These caps fit over our gold-plated speaker post thumb screws while still allowing the binding posts to operate and banana plugs to fit. Available for the front only or for the front and back. Technical Breakdown & Requirements

• Identical Connections Front & Rear: Features the same high-grade screw-clamp binding posts on both the front and back of the plate—no messy or fragile soldering iron work required behind the wall cavity.

• Mounting & Box Compatibility: Fits all standard UK single-gang boxes (86mm x 86mm). Because it accommodates four heavy-gauge conductors (especially with thick, high-end bi-wire cables), we recommend a 35mm or 47mm deep back box to keep cable management tidy and stress-free.

• Metal Plate Safety: Every premium metal faceplate option includes custom black nylon insulating bushes to completely isolate the audio signals from the faceplate chassis.

Installation Tip

Use the speaker posts on the back of the plate to directly secure your cable for a solder-free installation. We also like to solder the ends of our cables first, but it’s up to you!
