Plasma TV Installation Service Details

Matt ordered the AV Installs Premium Home Cinema Installation Service. This comprehensive service included wall mounting a TV and home cinema speakers, as well as setting up all the auxiliary devices. The service included concealing all the cabling in the walls.

The screen, being 40 kg, was wall-mounted on our heavy-duty universal mount, which holds up to 65″ screens at up to 70kg, providing plenty of scope should Matt want to change his TV at a later date. Three 5M HDMI V1.4 cables were run into the wall to a  high-level white A2000 SPX floating shelf system on the right-hand side. The following wires were terminated at a custom AV connection plate, located on the side of the right-hand alcove: X1 HDMI V1.4, X1 USB 2.0, X1 CVBS, X1 VGA, X1 Component, Ethernet CAT6, and X1 Optical return. All chase lines were re-plastered and prepared for decoration, ensuring a seamless and tidy finish, completing the Plasma TV Installation Service.

Hidden Home Cinema Cabling

The cable runs from the TV screen to the wall plates and the A2000 floating AV Shelf.

Next, we wall-mounted five satellite surround sound speakers and provided a bespoke hidden cabling service to the speaker outlet plate. All speaker cabling runs in D-line Quadrant floor cable cover, a discreet and safe way to manage cables, which runs the entire perimeter of the room. The Speaker cables were then passed behind the skirting board to the X2 speaker outlet plates, one at floor level and the second chased up the wall to a smaller architrave speaker binding post plate at a high level. All chase lines were then repaired and prepared for redecoration. The reason for having two plates for each speaker was that Matt, at some point, wanted to upgrade his sound equipment and may opt for tallboy floor-standing speakers instead of wall-mounted satellite speakers.

Next, we prepared all the chase lines for re-decoration. Matt had a few other repairs in the room, which AV Installs Ltd was more than happy to assist with and completed as part of the service.

The Final Job was to test and configure the system, ensuring that our customer can enjoy the best possible sound and picture from their home entertainment system………………………
