Key Factors to Consider Before Buying

When you choose a rise-and-fall mechanism, our experts recommend measuring and verifying these three key technical requirements to ensure a perfect fit for your project.

1. Total Lift Stroke: The maximum travel height required. Your stroke must equal the absolute height of your TV screen, plus the thickness of your cabinet lid, plus a safety tolerance buffer (approx. 50mm).
2. Minimum Internal Cabinet Height: The structural clearance required inside your furniture to completely conceal the lowered lift and the TV.
3. Lid Opening Style: Choose between basic integrated lid lifters (which push a hinged flap open), Electric flap actuators which automate a hinged flap or premium motorised automated flap actuators that drop and conceal the lid internally before the TV rises.
4. Articulation: Do you need your TV to rotate or hinge after it rises so you can view it from multiple areas in the same room?
