Guide on how to pair a Venset remote control.

Have you lost your Venset TV Lift remote?

Are you looking for a new remote and need help pairing it with the Venset control box?

The following guide and video have been put together to help customers pair a new Venset remote to the TV lift control board.

With Venset, the remote control element is made up of two parts.

  1. The control box, which everything plugs into remote control board for venset tv lifts
  2. The handheld push-button emitter venset rf remote emitter hand held

Each handheld remote emitter has its own individual RF frequency. This needs to be paired with the control box in order for it to work.

Preparation 

The first thing to do is to test that the handled remote is working. To do this press any button on the new handset remote and you should see the blue light on the front light up.

In order to pair the remote handset we first need to open the control box to access the learning button.

Firstly it is advised the safely unplug everything from the control box and open it up by depressing the sides as shown in the video below.

Pairing the Remote

Now with the cover now safely removed from the control box the next thing to do is to plug the power supply unit back in. A blue led will now light up in the top right hand corner confirming that the control box is receiving power.

Next in the top left hand corner is the small learning button labelled PROG. Depress this button once and a small red light will glow next to the blue power light on the control board. This confirms that the control board is now in learning mode and ready to receive a signal.

Finally press the up button on the handheld remote and the red light will flash confirming that the RF code has been accepted and learnt. To test press either of the buttons on the remote and the red light should blink to confirm its received the signal.

Finishing Up

To finish up unplug the power supply unit and clip the control box lid back on before plugging everything back in and testing.
