Hello everyone, In addition to adding new speaker connection plates to the range this year, we have made some fantastic updates across our entire range of wall plates.
I wanted to take this opportunity to update everyone on the changes and new additions.
Dolby Atmos is a revolutionary audio technology that has been making waves in the entertainment industry since its debut in 2012. It is a surround sound system that completely transforms the way we experience sound in movies, TV shows, and even music.
At its core, Dolby Atmos is an object-based audio technology that allows sound engineers to precisely place and move individual sounds in a three-dimensional space. This means that instead of the traditional surround sound setup, where audio is directed from a few fixed speakers, Dolby Atmos is able to project sound from every direction, including overhead. This creates a truly immersive listening experience that makes you feel like you are right in the middle of the action.
Home cinema Dolby Atmos systems have become complex with the introduction of more and more surround speakers and subwoofers. We have introduced a new range of 4-gang and 6-gang speaker plates designed to fit into 8-gang and 12-gang grid back boxes. These oversized speaker plates can accommodate up to 9.4.6 speaker configurations along with additional HDMI and Network connections if needed.

We realise that some customers will have existing 5.1, 7.1 or 9.1 dolby surround sound system installations and are now looking to update to a new Dolby Atmos AV receiver. This will mean adding additional high level or in-ceiling atmos speakers. For this we have designed new 4 speaker and 6 speaker Atmos plates. Rather than replacing the existing plate you can just add the required Dolby Atmos speaker plate. You can also also add additional subwoofer and HDMI connections.
Another addition to the range is our ultra low profile speaker plate. This replaces the traditional banna sockets with a low profile rubber cable gland. This allows cables to exit the wall through the plate and grommet directly into the speakers. Allowing installers to minimise the depth required behind speakers, ideal for low profile smaller surround speakers.
Another great addition to the range is our new dual subwoofer wall plates. Featuring two RCA connections on the front and back, perfect for modern line level subwoofers with dual inputs. Available on architrave or single gang wall plates and supplied with 90 degree adaptors for the back.
We also have a new subwoofer with ground speaker connection plate. Designed for use with subwoofers that require grounding back to the AV receiver. Featuring a single RCA connection and ground terminal post its never been easier to install.
